Australian Space Discovery Centre at Adelaide's Lot Fourteen aiming to engage and inspire young minds

The Australian Space Discovery Centre in Lot Fourteen's McEwin Building on North Terrace, Adelaide city, offers hands-on interactive exhibits.
The Australian Space Discovery Centre, at Lot Fourteen technology precinct on North Terrace, Adelaide city, opened in 2021, offering science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education, engagement and inspiration for young visitors. The centre was the national science and technology centre Questacon’s first permanent exhibition outside Canberra. The centre hosts:
- an operational space mission control centre that could be watched through a theatrette for live space events. Guest speakers and opportunities to engage with space experts also will be presented.
- A space gallery with hands-on interactive exhibits that share how space improves life on Earth and highlight Australia's part of this story.
- The Endeavour room allows direct engagement with space industry businesses, start-ups and researchers through workshops, discussions and displays.
- A careers and information hub to learn about the Australian space sector and discover career paths and jobs in the national space industry.
- Information on STEM education options for young people to explore pathways for a future in space.
On the ground floor of Lot Fourteen’s McEwin Building, near the corner of Frome Road and North Terrace, the Australian Space Discovery Centre is free to all but the experience was intended for ages 12 and above. Online bookings are essential for limited 75-minute sessions, The centre’s schools programme was intended for year levels 7 to 12.
