South Australian road deaths and injuries make a big fall since 2004, despite 2014 blip

South Australia recorded the highest rate of road deaths of the mainland states in 2014. Among the 108 killed, 13 drivers/riders had a blood alcohol content above the legal limit.
But overall figures since 2004 show a large drop in serious injuries and crashes, although rural and regional road crashes are disproportionately high.
